take note that we are a design consultancy and do not directly compete with architectural practices for architect of record status, stamping, or sealing. we provide complimentary services to architectural practices that may enhance their services and ability to deliver design to clients. ballparchitecture may work directly for an end user or as a subcontractor to another organization performing services for an end user.
ballparchitectre staff are members of the american institure of architects (aia) and follow the aia code of ethics & professional conduct when crediting work performed by employees while employed at organizations other than ballparchitecture where appropriate by observing the aia ethics, canons, and rules including but not limited to: ethical standard 4.2 dignity and integrity: members should strive, through their actions, to promote the dignity and integrity of the profession and ensure that the conduct of representatives and employees conforms to this code. ethical standard 5.3 professional recognition: members should build their professional reputation on the merits of their service and performance and should recognize and give credit to others for the professional work they have performed. rule 4.201 misleading, deceptive, or false statements or claims about their professional qualifications, experience, or performance and shall accurately state the scope and nature of their responsibilities in connection with work for which they are claiming credit. rule 5.301 members shall recognize and respect the professional contributions of their employees, employers, professional colleagues, and business associates. rule 5.303 a member shall not unreasonably withhold permission from a departing employee or partner to take copies of designs, drawings, data, reports, notes, or other materials relating to work performed by the employee or partner that are not confidential. additonal recomendations by the aia for attribution include a member taking credit for a project or a specific role on a project other than as the architect-of-record must clearly define that role. in addition to the member’s specific role, the architect-of-record must be acknowledged. all design work shown on this website represents the personal portfolio of eric j einhorn. eric j einhorn has granted ballparchitecture the rights to publish his personal design portfolio according to aia rules, ethics, and suggestions. this portfolio may include work performed while employed by an organization other than ballparchitecture. ballparchitecture attributes credit to the aforementioned and proceeding in accordance to the aia code of ethics & professional conduct.
